Really Simple History now live at Google Code

Point your browsers to Google Code for the new home of Really Simple History, the Ajax bookmarking and back-button library I recently agreed to take over from creator Brad Neuberg.

I just got back from vacation and spent today diving into the code, which hasn't been versioned in a couple of years. I've already gotten some great feedback and suggestions from users who have hacked the library since its last update. I expect to get a new version out in the next few weeks, so keep the requests and comments coming.

   At this moment, at least, the SVN repo appears to be empty

   Yes, for now we just have the same old ZIP file available for download. It’ll go into SVN this week.

   We implemented the RSH framework in slippymap.com. It works quite well.

   I wanted to point out that RSH does not work with Opera 9.23.

   Also, it would be great to provide a port of RSH to Prototype since other frameworks (e.g. Dojo and jQuery) already provide support for the back button.

   If you used Prototype, you could replace the first line with the 2nd line and dump the JSON lib, since Prototype provides support for JSON.

   Wow, nifty library, I always thought the back button and Ajax didn’t play nicely together. Seems I stand corrected.
