Down into the nitty gritty of GWT

I'm surprised I haven't come across Ray Cromwell's blog before. He has  a wealth of information regarding GWT. No wonder -- he's written over 15,000 lines of code for his Chronoscope application. What is Chronoscope?

Chronoscope is a visualization platform under development at Timepedia for    time series datasets. Chronoscope stems from a desire for responsiveness and interactivity when navigating or authoring datasets.  Ultimately we aim  to bring something like the experience of Google Maps or Google Earth to time series data.

I'd recommend starting with his article GWT Demystified, which gives a good overview of how the GWT compiler works. Subsequent articles in the sequence go into the topic of Generators. Go read it now.
