The Echo2 Framework, a very sweet way to build Ajax apps in Java without getting your hands dirty with Javascript or DHTML, has been around for a while. There are a few nice little tutorials out there by David R. Heffelfinger. His one on drag and drop shows off the integration of the script.aculo.us Javascript library.
I'm finishing off part 2 of my Echo2 tutorial series. Part 2 is all about Ajax server-side updates. Stay tuned.
