Pathfinder Headquarters Moving to Chicago’s River North
New Offices Offer Clients More of Everything
Chicago, IL (04/02/2007) – Pathfinder, a leading provider of software development services, today announced the relocation of its Chicago, Illinois headquarters.
A dramatic increase in demand for Pathfinder’s software product design and development services necessitated a move to a new office three times the size of the previous one. Scheduled to open on April 2nd, the new offices are located at 215 West Superior Street, Suite 400, Chicago IL 60610 in Chicago’s River North Neighborhood.
“We’re experiencing significant growth in demand for our services” said Bernhard Kappe, CEO, Pathfinder Associates. “Our new headquarters office accommodates the expanding needs of our customers and the growth of all of our functional areas, including software product development, user experience design, testing and support. We’ve seen rapid growth in all of the areas we serve, particularly because of the rising demand for rich internet applications (RIAs) at the enterprise and software vendor level.” Human Resources Manager Amy Minick explained that “the space will be much more flexible, allowing our teams to alter the workstation set-ups to work together more effectively. It will also boast more collaborative team workrooms.”
The new Pathfinder offices will feature a Usability Lab, allowing our Usability Specialists to test and improve designs for usability and improved productivity at all stages of the application lifecycle. According to Director Paul Dittmann, “It’s just another reason why Pathfinder is considered ‘best of breed’ by businesses around the country.”
Chief Technical Officer Dietrich Kappe is looking forward to the move saying, “It offers us the chance to get all of our developers and user design folks together for continuing education, issue resolution and cross-team synergies.”
