Pathfinder Brings User Experience Design to the STC Conference in Las Vegas
Chicago, IL (May 1, 2006) Each year, the STC conference attracts the world’s largest gathering of technical communicators with unique educational and networking opportunities. At STC’s 53rd Annual Conference, attendees will learn new tools and techniques, share ideas, network with peers, and preview the latest software and services from dozens of vendors. Pathfinder is pleased to be hosting two sessions at this well-attended venue.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Technical Communicators: A Winning Community.” Pathfinder will present interactive sessions on “Creating Effective Documentation for Cross-cultural Design” and “The Challenges of Documenting User Experience Design.”
This year’s conference will offer more than 200 educational presentations, known as technical sessions. These include presentations, demonstrations, and panel discussions on topics of interest to technical communicators. Web technology, techniques for improving writing, affordable usability methods, cost estimation, and dozens of other topics are typically covered over three days of conference sessions. In addition, several well-known writers, photographers, or researchers are invited every year to discuss their work in technical information. During the initial three days of the conference, companies that provide products and services to technical communicators will exhibit their wares at the conference exhibition.
We hope to see you in Las Vegas!
